Lauren Brombert is a professional word herder, grammar guru, syntax surgeon, sentence sculptor, paragraph pruner, prose polisher — and content creator — with more than a decade of experience. Because of her exceptional command of English, eagle-eyed attention to detail and sharp mind, she has established a solid reputation as a masterful copywriter, editor and proofreader.
Lauren has worked with a wide variety of clients — including startups, ad and marketing agencies, not-for-profit organizations and Fortune 500 companies — representing diverse industries.. From ads to white papers, from emails to manuscripts, Lauren has extensive experience with print and digital content of all kinds. She is also skilled at “translating” complex concepts into easy-to-understand copy. Her clients trust her to deliver clear, concise, compelling copy that helps them communicate powerfully and get results.
After a B.A. in Ancient Greek and Latin (with Honors) at Haverford College, where she received the William W. Baker Prize in Greek, Lauren completed an M.A. in Russian Studies at Yale University, followed by additional graduate work in linguistics. Her extensive background in language, literature and linguistics is a major contributor to her word craft. For more than 12 years, she taught academic English to pre-undergraduate, undergraduate and graduate international students at a number of universities, including Harvard, The School of the Art Institute and DePaul. She has also designed and delivered courses, programs, presentations and workshops for business professionals and educators at city, state and international levels.
In addition to copywriting and editing, Lauren is an award-winning songwriter. Special interests include travel/ecotourism, animal welfare, health and wellness, spirituality and religion, social change, personal growth, the arts and creativity. She is particularly excited about working with clients whose products or services make the world a better place.
